III.    Continued Public Hearing:

Case 17-04 – Mary A. Murphy Trust, 23 New Britain Road, requests variances to  construct a 228+/- s.f. addition to the rear of the structure to include an indoor shower and laundry room.  

A Motion was made by K. Kotzan, seconded by N. Hutchinson to CONTINUE the Public Hearing to the July 18, 2017 Regular Meeting so that the applicant can provide a more detailed plan.  No further discussion and a vote was taken.  In favor:  J. McQuade, M. Stone, K. Kotzan, N. Hutchinson, M. Hartmann   Opposed:  None   Abstaining:  None  The Motion passed unanimously.  5-0-0

Case 17-04 – Mary A. Murphy Trust, 23 New Britain Road – Continued to next month

A Motion was made by N. Hutchinson, seconded by M. Hartmann, to postpone the approval of the minutes of the May 16, 2017 Regular Meeting to the July 18, 2017 Regular Meeting.  No discussion and a vote was taken.  In favor:  J. McQuade, M. Stone, K. Kotzan, N. Hutchinson, M. Hartmann   Opposed:  None   Abstaining:  None  The Motion passed unanimously.  5-0-0

        d) Correspondence and Announcements

A Motion was made by K. Kotzan, seconded by M. Hartmann to add to the agenda the letter dated June 20, 2017 from Stuart Fairbank, Angus McDonald Gary Sharpe & Associates, Inc. on behalf of the applicant, UMARS, LLC, 281 Shore Road to grant an additional one year extension from its original approval in May of 2015, extended for an additional one year period in July of 2016 under correspondence.  No discussion and a vote was taken.  In favor:  J. McQuade, M. Stone, K. Kotzan, N. Hutchinson, M. Hartmann   Opposed:  None   Abstaining:  None  The Motion passed unanimously.  5-0-0

A Motion was made by K. Kotzan, seconded by M. Hartmann to GRANT an additional one year extension to July19, 2018 for the original variances granted by the ZBA for UMARS, LLC, 281 Shore Road. No further discussion and a vote was taken.  In favor:  J. McQuade, M. Stone, K. Kotzan, N. Hutchinson, M. Hartmann   Opposed:  None   Abstaining:  None  The Motion passed unanimously.  5-0-0

VI.     Adjournment

A Motion was made by K. Kotzan, seconded by N. Hutchinson to adjourn the June 20, 2017 Regular Meeting.  No further discussion and a vote was taken.  In favor:  J. McQuade, M. Stone, K. Kotzan, N. Hutchinson, M. Hartmann   Opposed:  None   Abstaining:  None  The Motion passed unanimously.  5-0-0 The meeting was adjourned at 8:00 PM.
